Locations can be added, removed or edited through the Edit Locations tool at the bottom of the screen.Selecting a location will display all of the devices assigned to that location.When you login to the New LUX App, you will be presented with a list of locations.A location can be shared to other users, who will have access to the devices in that location.Those locations can have any number of thermostats, referred to as devices, assigned to them.Your account can have any number of locations associated with it.A location is where your devices are located.LUX 2.0 takes an intuitive approach to organizing your thermostats and locations:.Press Add Location to add an additional location.Press the name of an existing location to edit its information.To get started, press the edit locations button.A location can manually be set to away mode with the home/away toggle button.The away set point can be adjusted by editing the scheduling options for a device, and pressing the thermometer icon in the upper right.While in away mode, your devices will go to their respective away set points.Devices will follow your schedule, respect a pause in the schedule, or stay at your chosen stop set point as appropriate. If one user is within the radius for the location, the devices will operate in home mode.While in home mode, your devices will behave according to your instructions.To disable this feature, press the Aware button and then “Turn Off Home and Away Aware”.3 miles, or as wide as 60 miles around the chosen location Press the aware button or access the location settings for a chosen location to set the radius.When a single user returns to the location, the devices will resume normal operation.Whenever all users with access to this location leave this radius (with their phone) the devices within a location will be set to their away set point.The app will present a set of instructions specific to your device.Īfter connecting to the thermostat network, return to the LUX app and connect to your home wifi network. Selecting your model of thermostat will initiate a connection process specific to that device. Once paired, you will be prompted to set up a schedule if you are connecting your thermostat for the first time.Follow those instructions to get your device connected and paired to your App. Depending on your Phone OS (iOS or Android) and your Device, different instructions will appear on the app.Press “Let’s go” and a set of instructions will appear that are specific to the device you are connecting.Select the type of device you are connecting, then press “Correct” to confirm.Select a location, and press “Edit Devices”, then “Add Device”.Once connected, a device will be assigned to the chosen location and all associated users will be able to control it.The GEO and GEOx can have a date and time set, as well as a schedule without a network connection.The KONO and CS-1 require a network connection for their scheduling features.Devices are connected through the “Add Device” process in the Lux app.
